Great Interest in Professional Proficiency Exams
Mahir Eller Project, which was funded by the European Union under the leadership of TOBB with the partnership of TEPAV in cooperation with the Commerce and Industry Chambers in 12 provinces, continues nonstop. The project, which provides advantages to both Syrians under Temporary Protection and our citizens in their working lives, also enables new job opportunities for participants.
The project, which was carried out with the aim of documenting the current professional skills of the target audience and supporting their employment, increases the opportunities of the participants to have a job by documenting their professional competencies, on the other hand, helps employers to make efficient production with qualified employees and provides financial support to their employers for six months for the employees who receive the professional competence certificate from "Mahir Eller" Project. Participants show great interest in the vocational qualification exams organized within the scope of the project.
THE MOST PREFERRED AREA IS STEEL WELDING
Within the scope of the project, which started with the slogan "Certify Your Profession, Reveal Your Difference", the area where most of the vocational qualification exams are entered in Adana, Bursa, Gaziantep, Hatay, Istanbul, Izmir, Kayseri, Kilis, Konya, Mardin, Mersin and Şanlıurfa has been the steel welding. Until today, nearly nine thousand vocational qualification exams have been conducted within the scope of the project.
The areas of competence that are most tested in project implementation provinces are as follows:
- Electrical installation in Adana,
- Steel welding and plastic injection production staff in Bursa,
- Real estate consultancy and city public transport bus driver in Gaziantep,
- Service vehicle driver and wooden furniture manufacturer in Hatay,
- Urban rail systems train driver and medical waste collector from health institutions in Istanbul,
- Crane operator and steel welder in Izmir,
- Steel welder and urban rail systems train driver in Kayseri,
- Construction painter and motor vehicle sales and purchase manager in Kilis,
- Urban public transport bus driver and steel welder in Konya,
- Steel welder and heating natural gas interior installation staff in Mardin,
- Wooden furniture manufacturer and steel welder in Mersin,
- Motor vehicles sales and sales manager and construction painter in Şanlıurfa.
